On March 27th, the “Honjin wo Tashinamu Kai” (tentative name) was held at Satoyama villa Honjin.

In this first meeting, Mr. Kazuo Hashizume, a storyteller of original folktales, who was instrumental in attracting the Historical Drama “Sanadamaru” to the area, told a story of original folktales related to Hofukuji Temple, and Mr. Tamio Morozumi, who lives near the Honjin, talked about the history of Hofukuji Temple.

About 30 people attended the event and enjoyed the time spent at the Honjin.

We also had a special pre-opening of the “Kamenoya Annex,” which is scheduled to open for business on the first floor of the remote house in April.

A total of 10,400 yen was raised for the “Green Fund”, a project to restore the matsutake mushroom mountain in the Shiga area. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
